Zebra Pancake
Ingredients
- For about ten pancakes:
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 cups (530ml) semi-skimmed milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup (50g) melted butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 3 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, vanilla sugar, eggs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix with a whisk and gradually add the milk while stirring to avoid lumps.
Take 3 ladles of batter and transfer it to a separate bowl. Add 3 teaspoons of unsweetened cocoa powder and mix well. Pour the chocolate batter into a squeeze bottle.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook your pancakes. Start by creating a swirl with the chocolate batter. Once it's halfway cooked, pour some ladles of plain pancake batter around the edges (don't use too much to avoid thick pancakes).
Flip the pancake when the bottom surface turns golden.
When folding, you can add a Kinder Maxi or some chocolate spread for that extra delightful touch. Enjoy your zebra pancakes!
