- approx. 250 ml coffee or espresso to cool down
- 2+1 tablespoons of Amaretto, also available non-alcoholi
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 egg whites
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 500 g mascarpone

Prepare the coffee and leave to cool. If you like you can add a dash of Amaretto to the coffee).
Separate the eggs. Whip 4 egg yolks with the powdered sugar until white-fluffy and stir in 1 tablespoon Amaretto (or more if you like). Carefully stir in the mascarpone with a whisk.
Beat 2 egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff and carefully fold into the cream.
Lay out the ladyfingers in a form (approx. 31x21cm) and drizzle with the coffee.
Spread a layer of cream over the ladyfingers and spread another layer of ladyfingers on top and drizzle with coffee. Finish with another layer of mascarpone cream - this is great to pipe on as tuffs using a piping bag or pastry or garnish syringe.
Chill the finished tiramisu for a few hours (preferably overnight) and sprinkle with cocoa powder before serving.
