Toffifee Cookies
Ingredients
- Dough:
- 2 large eggs or 3 medium eggs
- 1 cup (250 g) softened butter
- 3 1/2 cups (450 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups (150 g) cornstarch
- 1 1/4 cups (150 g) powdered sugar
- 2 packets vanilla sugar
- 1 heaping teaspoon baking powder
- Additionally:
- About 25 Toffifee candies
- 7 oz (200 g) milk chocolate
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, and baking powder. Add the eggs and softened butter, and knead everything together until you have a compact cookie dough. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Form the dough into 25 balls, flatten them, wrap them around the Toffifee candies, and reshape them into balls. Place them spaced apart on 2 baking sheets lined with parchment paper, and bake at 170°C (340°F) in a preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Let them cool completely.
- Once cooled, dip the cookies in melted chocolate. Enjoy the deliciousness!
