Oregano cake
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- Zest of 2 lemons
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 cup olive oil
- 2 cups flour (add gradually)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- Half a teaspoon salt
- Half a cup milk (if needed)
- 2 cups fresh thyme
- 1 cup small-cut cheese
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon black seeds
Instructions
- Mix together eggs, lemon zest, yogurt, and olive oil, stirring well.
- Gradually add the flour and dry ingredients, then fold in the thyme, cheese, black seeds, and sesame seeds.
- Pour the batter into a buttered mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about half an hour or until the cake is cooked and golden brown.
- Allow it to cool a bit, cut into slices, and enjoy
