This Milky Way Chocolate Blondies Recipe is the perfect combination of gooey caramel, rich chocolate, and a chewy blondie base. Ideal for satisfying your sweet tooth or impressing at your next gathering!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped Milky Way candy bars (about 6-7 fun-size bars)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (like Mrs. Richardson's, Smuckers, or Ghirardelli)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  • In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter on high for about 1 minute. Stir in the brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract, whisking until well combined.
  • Add the flour, baking powder, and salt to the wet ingredients, and mix until everything is incorporated. Gently fold in the chopped Milky Way bars and chocolate chips.
  • Spread about two-thirds of the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan, using a spatula or damp hands to smooth it out.
  • Drizzle the caramel sauce over the batter. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining batter on top and carefully spread it over the caramel layer with a spatula or damp hands.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the blondies turn golden brown. Allow them to cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Once cooled, use the parchment paper to lift the blondies out of the pan. Cut into squares and, if you’re feeling extra indulgent, drizzle more caramel sauce on top before serving. Enjoy!
