  • 1 cup vegetable or canola oil
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 gallon ice cream (any flavor), softened

Instructions

    Preheat Oven:

    Preheat your oven to 350°F.
    Line an 18x13-inch baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray.


    Make Chocolate Sandwich Batter:

    In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar and oil, stirring until well mixed.
    Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Mix in the cocoa powder until fully incorporated.
