Ingredients
- For 4 servings:
- 3 large potatoes
- 1.1 lb (500 g) ground beef (seasoned with salt, black pepper, and paprika)
- 1 red and 1 green bell pepper
- Sunflower oil
- Salt, black pepper, turmeric, paprika, thyme, kefta spices
- 1.5 glasses of water
- 1.5 tbsp tomato paste
- A handful of frozen peas (optional)
Instructions
Start by shaping 10g meatballs with the seasoned ground beef, adding paprika for extra flavor.
In a pan, add a generous amount of sunflower oil and sauté the peeled and diced potatoes. Remove them halfway through cooking. Slice the bell peppers and sauté them in the same oil. Once cooked, remove them. In the same oil, cook the meatballs.
Transfer all the cooked ingredients to an oven-safe dish. In a bowl, combine a drizzle of sunflower oil, tomato paste, spices, salt, black pepper, and thyme. Add water and mix well. Pour the sauce into the dish, stirring in the peas. Mix again.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. Serve hot and enjoy the delightful blend of flavors!
