Quick and Easy Nut-Nougat Mini Croissants 😍 It really doesn’t get any faster, and the taste is simply dreamy. Save this recipe for the weekend.
For about 14 croissants, you’ll need:
- 1 roll of fresh puff pastry
- Nut-Nougat cream (Nutella works best)
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 knife and 1 brush
Here’s how to make them:
- Preheat the oven to 392°F (200°C) on convection bake. Let the puff pastry rest for about 10 minutes, then roll it out, making it slightly thinner, and cut it into 14 triangles.
- Spread about 1 teaspoon of Nut-Nougat cream (not too much, or it’ll be difficult to roll) on the wide side of each triangle. Roll them up from the wide side, twist the ends, forming croissant shapes, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Mix the egg yolk and milk. Brush the croissants with it.
- Bake for approximately 10-12 minutes in the preheated oven until they turn golden. Remove from the oven, let them cool a bit, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve. Enjoy! 😊
