These little chocolate cups for hot cocoa are such a delicious Christmas treat! Super simple with melted chocolate, cocoa powder, and tiny marshmallows. All you need are disposable cups, candy canes, and some sugar sprinkles for decoration.
Chocolate Hot Cups
Ingredients
- Disposable cups
- Melted milk chocolate
- Candy canes
- Cocoa powder
- Mini marshmallows
- Granulated sugar.
Instructions
Slowly melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave on low power, then pour it into the disposable cups. Swirl the cups as shown in the video so the chocolate spreads around. Let it set, and repeat the process to make the chocolate cups stable.
Carefully remove the cups.
Pour a bit more melted chocolate into the chocolate cups and place the candy canes inside. Let it dry.
Now add 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder into each chocolate cup and top it with mini marshmallows. Drizzle a little melted chocolate over the marshmallows to make them stick.
Then, decorate everything with melted chocolate and granulated sugar, and finally, dip the cups themselves back into the chocolate and decorate.
To make hot chocolate, just place one of the cups in hot milk, wait a bit, and then stir it well.
