Chocolate Cake Cheesecake with Cherries
Ingredients
- For the Chocolate Cake:
- 3 eggs
- 350 grams of flour
- 250 grams of sugar
- 200 ml of oil
- 200 ml of milk
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- For the Cheesecake Cream:
- 2 eggs
- 800 grams of sour cream
- 150 grams of sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
- Additionally:
- 1 jar of cherries or sour cherries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F) and grease or line a baking pan with parchment paper. The recommended size is 25cm x 38 cm.
- Prepare the Chocolate Cake:
- In a mixing bowl, beat together 3 eggs with 250 grams of sugar and 1 packet of vanilla sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add 200 ml of oil and 200 ml of milk while continuing to mix.
- Sift in 350 grams of flour, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, and 1 packet of baking powder. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the chocolate cake batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Prepare the Cheesecake Cream:
- In another bowl, beat 2 eggs with 150 grams of sugar until smooth.
- Add 800 grams of sour cream and mix well.
- Stir in 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder until fully incorporated.
- Spread the Cheesecake Cream evenly over the chocolate cake batter in the baking pan.
- Drain the jar of cherries or sour cherries and distribute them evenly over the cheesecake layer.
- Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool completely before slicing and serving.
