When you have unexpected guests dropping by, this recipe is perfect. 😍
They taste best when the puff pastry is still nice and crispy. 😊
Here’s how to make them:
Ingredients for 6 boats:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1 egg yolk
- 50g (about 1/2 cup) almond flakes
- 500ml (about 2 cups) milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 packet of Bourbon vanilla pudding powder
- 300g (about 2 cups) strawberries/blueberries/raspberries (whichever you prefer)
- Cut the puff pastry into 6 equal squares. Gently roll the edges and shape them slightly.
- Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with almond flakes.
- Bake at 160°C (about 320°F) with convection for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Prepare the pudding with milk and sugar according to the package instructions and let it cool.
- Wash and chop the berries.
- Spread the pudding on the pastry boats and decorate with the berries.
Enjoy! 😍😊
