Cheesecake Brownies

Cheesecake-Brownies๐Ÿ˜ The combination of two of my favorite cakes ๐Ÿ˜ Sometimes, it’s the little things in life that sweeten your day, right? ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Š

Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients:

For the Brownie Layer:

  • 200g (7 oz) Dark Chocolate
  • 120g (1/2 cup) Butter
  • 3 Eggs
  • 120g (1 cup) Sugar
  • 100g (3/4 cup) Flour
  • 15g (2 tablespoons) Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • a Pinch of Salt

For the Cheesecake Layer:

  • 200g (7 oz) Cream Cheese
  • 30g (1/4 cup) Sugar
  • 2 packets of Vanilla Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  1. Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler.
  2. Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy.
  3. Add the melted chocolate and butter, and mix everything well.
  4. Sift the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt into the mixture and stir.
  5. Pour 2/3 of the batter into a greased 25cm x 25cm (about 10-inch x 10-inch) brownie pan.
  6. For the cheesecake filling, mix the ingredients with a spoon (don’t mix too long, or it will become very liquid).
  7. Pour the cheesecake filling onto the brownie layer. Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and create a light pattern with a fork.
  8. Bake for about 40 minutes at 160ยฐC (320ยฐF) in a convection oven.
